By accessing or using Michigan Spots ("the Platform," "our Service," or "the Game"), operated by Cozyartz Media Group ("we," "us," or "our"), a Michigan-based company located in Battle Creek, Michigan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Description of Service

Michigan Spots is a community-powered, location-based discovery game that allows users to:

• Discover and share locations ("Spots") throughout Michigan
• Complete themed challenges and earn digital badges
• Participate in team-based city competitions
• Engage with a community through Reddit integration
• View and interact with partner-sponsored content and challenges

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use Michigan Spots
• Users between 13-17 must have parental or guardian consent
• We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time

3.2 Geographic Eligibility

• The Platform is designed for residents of and visitors to Michigan
• Some challenges and features may be location-restricted

4. User Accounts and Reddit Integration

4.1 Account Creation

• Michigan Spots integrates with Reddit's Developer Platform
• To participate, you must have or create a valid Reddit account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service, is harmful to other users or the Platform, violates applicable law, or is fraudulent.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Content Guidelines

When submitting spots, photos, comments, or other content, you agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or inaccurate information about locations
• Submit content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Share content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or hateful
• Post private property locations without authorization
• Encourage trespassing or illegal activity
• Submit content containing personal information of others without consent
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation without authorization

5.2 Location Safety

• You acknowledge that visiting physical locations carries inherent risks
• You are solely responsible for your safety when visiting any Spot
• We do not verify the safety, accessibility, or legality of locations
• Always respect private property, posted warnings, and local regulations
• Never trespass or engage in illegal activities to complete challenges

5.3 Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you submit to Michigan Spots. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your content in connection with the Platform. This license continues even if you stop using the Platform.

6. Prize Structure and No Purchase Necessary

6.1 No Gambling or Lottery

Michigan Spots is structured to comply with Michigan gaming laws:

• Participation is FREE - no purchase or payment is required
• Digital badges and leaderboard rankings have no monetary value
• Any physical prizes or rewards offered by partners are subject to partner terms
• The game combines discovery (skill) and community voting (participation), removing pure chance

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Calhoun County, Michigan.
